How GST will impact Cisco Exam Fees? 

GST on Cisco CCNA, CCNP & CCIE Certification Examination Fee

GST charges on Cisco certification fee vary widely with different Cisco certification tracks. Below, we will be discussing GST charges on different Cisco certification tracks one by one. Thus, you can easily know the GST’s effect on your pocket for pursuing Cisco certification. Scroll down and know the details –

#1 GST charges on Associate level certifications i.e. CCNA Certification

• Examination fee for CCNA R&S Certification exam 200-125 is USD 325 for which you will have to pay USD 58.50 as GST. However, if you are appearing for CCNA Certification in two parts i.e. for ICND1 100-105 & ICND2 200-105 exam, then each module will cost 165 USD for which you will be paying USD 29.7 as GST.

• The CCNA exam fee for other advanced technology certification exams such as CCNA Security 210-260, CCNA Wireless 200-355 WIFUND, CCDA 200-310 and CCNA Industrial 200-601 IMINS2 is similar i.e. USD 300. So, for all of these certifications, your GST charges will also be similar i.e. USD 54 for each module.  

• CCNA Data Center certification has two modules DCICN 200-150 & DCICT 200-155, and each module cost 165 USD leading to the GST charge of 29.7 USD.
   
• The examination fee for - CCNA Cloud, CCNA Service Provider, CCNA Cyber Ops and CCNA Collaboration is USD 300 for each module and all these examinations have two modules.  For each module, you will be charged 54 USD as GST.

#2 GST charges on Professional level certifications i.e. CCNP Certifications

After CCNA certification, let’s have a look at GST’s effect on CCNP certification exam fee of different tracks, one by one; here we go –

• CCNP R&S examination has 4 modules and each module cost USD 300 for which you will have to pay 54 USD as GST. Further, the examination fee for other CCNP exams i.e. CCNP Security, CCNP Collaboration and CCNP Data Center is also the same. Thus, your GST charges will also remain the same which means USD 54.

However, total GST payment will differ for different tracks as the number of modules varies with tracks. Know your total GST payment for different Cisco Certification track –

• CCNP R&S Certification – it has total 3 modules so your total GST payment will amount to USD 162 (54 USD x 3).
• CCNP Security Certification – it has total 4 modules so your total GST payment will amount to USD 216 (54 USD x 4).
• CCNP Collaboration Certification – it also has the total of 4 modules so your total GST payment will also be the same i.e. USD 216 (54 USD x 4).

Other Cisco CCNP certifications like CCNP Data Centre Certification, CCNP Cloud, CCNP Service provider and CCNP Wireless also have 4 modules each. Thus, your total GST payment will also be similar i.e. USD 216.  

GST charges on Expert level certifications i.e. Cisco CCIE Certification

The examination fee for CCIE written examination is same for all the tracks. Thus, your GST charges for all the Cisco CCIE certification track will also be similar. USD 450 is the examination cost of every CCIE written examination and GST charges amounts to USD 81.

There is no effect of GST on CCIE lab examination fee.

The basic reason behind it is that Cisco is using its own payment gateway worldwide. Thus, you don’t need to pay a single penny for GST.
