o   Devices to be used while preparing for CCNA online exam

One of the major reasons which showcase exceptional results in terms of getting a great job in good/reputed MNCs is aspirant’s industrial exposure and practical knowledge in the relative Cisco course. Similar is the case with CCNA certification. Individuals must practice on live Cisco routers and switches to gain deep knowledge about the insights of CCNA certification courses. While preparing for CCNA online certification exam, one requires at-least 3 Cisco routers and 2 Cisco switches.

Routers used must be either of 2611xm series, 1841 or higher series. It should also be noted that 2500 series of Cisco routers won’t work while one is preparing for the CCNA certification exam. The benefit of using the above mentioned series of Cisco routers include Intranet and internet access along with firewall security, VPN access, Inter VLAN routing, Flexible routing and low density switching, and many more.

Talking about the Cisco switches incorporated in the practical training given to  the CCNA online exam aspirants include switches of series 2950, 2960 and 3550. Practicals are mostly done on switches of series 2950 and 2960 but there are few practicals that can be done on 3550 series of switches only.
